hm . those who want to learn japanese . well these are simple . for really really novice people .

(1) Ohayou gozaimasu. 　おはようございます。　(Good morning)
(2) Konnichiwa. 　こんにちは。　(Hello/Good afternoon)
(3) Konbanwa. 　こんばんは。　(Good evening)
(4) Oyasuminasai. 　おやすみなさい。　(Good night)
Unlike English, it is mostly used before going to bed.
(5) Sayonara. 　さよなら。　(Good-bye)
(6) Doumo arigatou gozaimasu どうもありがとうございます (thank you very much)
(7) Hajimemashite はじめまして (how do you do?)
(8) Kochira こちら (this person)
(9) Doko どこ (is a casual way of asking the same question)
In Singapore, people will just say "HUH"
(10) Dochira どちら is a less direct and more polite way of asking "where"
